Lancefield International Symposium Travel Grant
The Lancefield International Symposium travel grant supports and promotes participation at the Lancefield International Symposium in Brisbane, Australia (1-5 June 2025) by international participants residing in low- and lower-middle-income countries (LMICs). A limited number of grants are available to presenting authors whose abstracts have been accepted. Grants are available to presenters of any age and career stage.
These awards are to support participation at the Lancefield International Symposium, Brisbane, 2025. Applicants should submit an abstract during the standard abstract submission period (16 September 2024 to 31 January 2025) to be to be eligible.
Entitlements:
Up to $1,500 towards travel (flights, transfers), accommodation and incidentals
Eligibility for the reduced LMIC conference registration rates (see Registration Page for further details)
Eligibility:
be living and working in an LMIC as indicated by the World Bank classification for the 2025 fiscal year.
be working in non-commercial and public sector institutions such as hospitals, universities, research institutions, and governmental executive agencies
be a Lancefield Society member
be a presenting author on an abstract submitted
How to apply:
Applicants must indicate that they would like to be considered for a grant during the abstract submission process.
Applicants must fill out and submit the form below during the abstract submission process. Successful applicants will be notified in March 2025.
Important Information:
travel grant recipients are required to attend the conference throughout
details of applicants will be published on the Lancefield Symposium website (name, affiliation, photo and research interests)
grant recipients will need to retain their travel receipts, including accommodation, and send them to ASN Events post-conference to claim up to $1,500
